ADVANTECH AMT GROUP

Advantech AMT™ is a world leading designer and manufacturer of Microwave Communication products for Satellite Ground Stations (L-Band to Ka-Band), wireless Base Stations (PCS, MMDS, 3.5GHz and LMDS), wireless backhaul (cellular mobile, WiMAX, WiFi, emergency services, and utilities applications) and wireless access (LAN bridging, enterprise, municipal, and private networks).

The Advantech AMT™ Group, to which Allgon Microwave belongs, is comprised of four industry leading businesses: Advantech AMT™ , Allgon Microwave , Advantech Satellite Networks, and Advantech AMS. Together, we offer a full range of communication products and with offices in Europe, Canada and the United-States, provide global product support expertise.

Advantech is the world leading Solid State Power Amplifier, Block-up Converter, Converter and Transceiver, advanced VSAT Terminals, Satellite Modems, Data Broadcast Receivers and Antenna Control Systems supplier.

Allgon Microwave supplies high performance and high quality point-to-point microwave radios. Allgon Microwave has two offices, one is situated in Gothenburg (Sweden) and the second in Montreal (Canada). We offer SDH/SONET, PDH and Ethernet microwaves radios for both ETSI and ANSI standards.

Advantech Satellite Networks (or SatNet for short), formerly known as EMS Satellite Networks and now a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantech AMT, has played a critical role in the development of the DVB-RCS international open standard for high-speed two-way Internet communications via satellite, and is a leading provider of broadband satellite communications ground terminal and hub solutions. Applications range from Internet access and simple web browsing, to more sophisticated virtual private networks, videoconferencing and voice-over-IP. SatNet's DVB-RCS solutions are the only multiple-access solutions capable of delivering data transfer rates of up to 54Mbps for downloads and up to 4Mbps for uploads at each remote terminal, or enough bandwidth to support anything from a small business to an entire community from a single remote terminal. SatNet also offers SCPC hub and terminal solutions, which are upgradeable to DVB-RCS. The SpaceBridge division is now part of Advantech Satellite Networks.

Advantech Advanced Manufacturing Services (AMS) provides a comprehensive range of electronic manufacturing services in an effort to offer turn-key solutions to its customers. There is a high level of interaction between AMS’ engineering team and those of its customers because of the complex nature of the OEM products that the company manufactures. The company’s flexible manufacturing strategy and engineering strength enable AMS to effectively work with OEMs to rapidly move a product through design and prototyping to volume production and full life cycle support.
